You will be taken to one of the most beautiful game reserves in Gauteng to enjoy a leisurely “game-viewing” offroad trail that winds through bushveld and typical highveld grass savannahs with muddy and rocky sections and a few river crossings to put your skills to the test. You will receive a two way radio for the day, the safari guide will share his knowledge of the area and the wildlife that you will encounter on the trail.
The trail is suitable for all off-road vehicles with or without low-range. The trail in parts is very challenging however, you will be glad to know that there are escape routes throughout. It’s an ideal family outing set in typical African Bush. The trail winds its way through a 1600 hectare game reserve, housing most of the antelope species found in Southern Africa. We promote sensible off-road driving with a respect for nature as a focal point throughout the experience.
All obstacles found on the trail are natural, a man-made off-road track is however available for those who want to hone their off-road driving skills even more at the end of the day under the watchful eye of our instructors.
Whether you are a novice or an experienced driver we will give you the experience you always wanted. Remember to bring your camera! The trails that we will be using are for our exclusive use and not open to the public.
Watch the lions being fed and also see the white Lions, White Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Waterbuck, Eland, Kudu and Oryx as well as a host of antelope species including the rare Sable Antelope in its natural habitat. If you are lucky you may even spot one of the free roaming Leopards prowling through the reserve! The trail winds through the lion enclosure with the weekly feed taking place on 10h00 every Sunday.
The cost is R500-00 per vehicle, it includes coffee and tea at the Ngonyama Lion Lodge in the game reserve and also your entrance fee to the Krugersdorp Game Reserve. Group rates are available for groups above 10 vehicles. |
