There really could not be a more idyllic spot for your company to launch a new product range, or for your company to introduce potential buyers to your range of vehicles or products than the Protea Eco-Adventures centre in the
Krugersdorp Game Reserve.

Believe it or not, this beautiful 1600 hectare Game Reserve is situated just 35 minutes away from Gauteng’s Central Business and is home to most of Africa’s game including Lion, Hippo, White Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, as well as a host of other animal species roaming the reserve and the test track freely in large numbers. The area also boasts some of the most rugged wilderness areas found in Gauteng, with a natural off-road test track that will really put your vehicles through their paces.

The fantastic location and the action-packed day we offer can be complimented with a list of additional activities which are sure to get your pulse racing. Just how much action you want to squeeze into your day is up to you, you let us know your needs and we will plan your day accordingly.

Our standard package includes use of our off-road test track of just over 1.3km mostly over natural terrain, similar to what your product will encounter in Southern Africa, a introduction talk on the vehicles, vehicle demonstration
through the course – covering axle twisters, inclines, rocky sections, declines, wooden bridges, traction control, donga with axle twisters, river crossing, river bed with mud and water, steep down hill (up to 35 degrees) section
into the river up a rocky path and instructors to assist you over the terrain that the reserve offers.

All vehicles will be equipped with a two-way radio for better communication between the instructors on the 4x4 track and the test drivers.

Your day can end with a bush braai, bush potjie or spit braai (see menu) under the open African skies with the roar of lions in the background. Relax around the open camp fire under the open African skies with drinks from the bar.

The standard cost per person will be R150-00 which includes venue hire and instructors fees.

Coffee, tea, fruit juice and sandwiches will be available on arrival at the Pool Venue of the Ngonyama Lion Lodge with transport to and from the Protea 4x4 track at R85-00 per person.

A bush braai, bush potjie or a spit braai will be on offer at the Protea 4x4 boma with full bar facility for the function or any extra services that you might require to make your day a memorable event.

The test track is not designed to damage vehicles, but to demonstrate the awesome capabilities of these wonderful machines under controlled conditions with as little as possible impact on nature.

Additional activities and facilities on offer

Quad biking: R 250-00 pp will get you around the off-road quad track for 5 laps.
Crossbow & Kettie & Airgun target shooting: R 200-00 pp with 10 shots per weapon.
Guided Horse trails: R 200-00 p.p. for a 2 hour out ride.
Paintball target shooting: R 60-00 will get you 50 x paintballs.
                                        R 90-00 will get you 100 x paintballs.

Booking Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total bill is payable to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. In the event of cancellation or postponement by your group 30 days prior to the
booking, you will receive a full refund minus 20% per person reservation fee. If you cancel or postpone 0-30 days prior to the event date, no refund will be allowed, you will then be liable for 100% payment of the total booking
value.
